First time the follicle collapsed oddly and the vet was not feeling great about her chances. Second time, everything looked better and we were cautiously optimistic. She still did not take. Mare is older, but had foal by side and foal the year before. Vet indicates this has been a rough year for many mares, did not seem to be a result of semen quality.
